P.E.S.'S MODERN COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING - M.B.A. DEPARTMENT

Master of Business Administration department of P.E.S.'s Modern College of Engineering, started in the year 2005 with the intake capacity of 60 students, which was later increased to 120 from the year 2009. This Master's program is fully recognized and approved by A.I.C.T.E. and is affiliated to the University of Pune. The department is committed to nurture its students into highly skilled and proficient managers / entrepreneurs by providing them with courses reinforced with multi-faced inputs of management education using state of the art methods of training and active industry interface.

To acquire required conceptual base for developing management techniques the students undergo class room inputs by way of case studies, group discussions and presentation techniques. The students are also exposed to the functional process through various industry academia interfaces like industrial visits, lectures on emerging areas by eminent speakers, undertaking projects, internships and in-plant training for the period of two months. Special efforts are taken to make the students aware of new emerging domains through inputs of specialized faculty and experts from industries.

Several students who have passed out from this department are occupying responsible positions in various industries, Government & semi-government organizations or are successful entrepreneurs.
