Innovations By Faculty in Teaching Learning
Model Based Learning/ simulation (Cut section & project simulation)
Prototype and cut section models are used for the execution of lecture delivery as well as in practical demonstration.
For proper understanding of the subjects,
student can have a realistic view on the same and can correlate the concept in their subject.
Software simulations of projects are used for the better understanding of the concept and students are able
to simulate, analyse and compare the results.
Online video lecture by faculty
Video lectures prepared by the faculty and reviewed by the peer committee for the best suitability of the content
delivery to the students. Quality of the same is analysed by the committee members and given suggestions are
incorporated. After delivery of lecture, feedback is taken from the students for better analysis
and improvement

ICT (Moodle, Google form)
In order to have better time management ICT tools have been used to interact with the students. Various ICT tools have been used like Google form for conducting multiple choice questions, student data base, content related to subject either PPT, Video lectures hand written notes and information is reflect in Moodle. Student can directly access the content and gather the data for better level of understanding. Students are provided with unique login to have the access of Moodle. Screenshot of ICT (Moodle, Google form) is shown in Figure. B 5.5c
Flip Lectures
The content becomes available beyond typical classroom time. This helps students with different capabilities to go through the lecture at their own pace. Flip lectures enable to personalize the classroom.
Project Exhibition
Project exhibition is conducted on annual basis where students can showcase their talent. This increases the technical skills, imaginative thinking, creativity and innovations in engineering concepts as well as solutions to societal issues. Assessment is done by industrial experts. Suggestions and changes suggested by them are taken into consideration and incorporated in coordination with respective guides.
Project exhibition of final year project
Experiential learning (Industrial visit)
Industrial visits are conducted to foster the technical knowledge of the students as per industry realities .It provides a practical perspective of workplace. Student can assimilate knowledge which helps in their thinking and learning process. Industrial visits bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical learning in a real-life environment.
