Session on Digital Marketing

Wednesday, 21/12/2022

Brief Description:

Digital marketing is not an art of selling a product. It is an art of making people buy the product that you sell. Ignoring online marketing is like opening a business but not telling anyone. In light of the above statement, the session on Digital Marketing was organized by the MBA department. Ms. Kajal Chhajed was the resource person.

The session started with explaining about Digital marketing, which is the promotion of brands to connect with potential customers using the internet and other forms of digital communication. This includes not only email, social media, and web-based advertising, but also text and multimedia messages as a marketing channel. Any marketing that uses electronic devices and can be used by marketing specialists to convey promotional messaging and measure its impact through your customer journey. In practice, digital marketing typically refers to marketing campaigns that appear on a computer, phone, tablet, or other device. It can take many forms, including online video, display ads, search engine marketing, paid social ads and social media posts. Digital marketing is often compared to “traditional marketing” such as magazine ads, billboards, and direct mail. Oddly, television is usually lumped in with traditional marketing. She further explained in details that digital marketing strategy allows you to leverage different digital channels–such as website marketing, social media marketing, pay-per-click, search engine optimization, influencer marketing, content marketing, email marketing and affiliate marketing and how you use this to connect with the existing customers and individuals interested in your products or services. As a result, you can build a brand, provide a great customer experience, bring in potential customers, and more.
