Department of AIML Engineering at P.E.S's Modern College of Engineering started in the year 2021. The department offers Undergraduate (UG) program with intake capacity of 60 (2021). UG program is approved by A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune.

The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) Department at PES's Modern College of Engineering, Pune, focuses on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of AI and ML technologies. The department aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to solve real-world problems using AI and machine learning techniques.

The department offers well-equipped laboratories supervised by experienced, qualified staff with advanced computational resources for hands-on learning in AI, ML, and data science projects. These facilities enable students to work on research projects, simulations, and real-world applications in AI and ML.

Academic training is a very important part of a student's life, but it is also important that a young engineer undergoes general development that will lead him or her to success. With respect to this aim we established student clubs like CODE Club and ED cell for overall development of students. The department organizes workshops, seminars, technical talks, conferences, training programs, programming contests in association with these clubs regularly.
