INTRODUCTION

Department of Information Technology of Modern College of Engineering Pune-05 unveiled APP CLUB under Information Technology Student Association (ITSA) from year 2015. This APP Club was inaugurated on Engineer’s Day Wednesday, 15/09/2015 by Mr. Rahul Gurjar (working as a Sr. Program Manager at TCL Pvt.Ltd) in the presence of HOD Prof. (Mrs.) S.D.Deshpande, ITSA Coordinator Mrs. Bhawana Chaudhary and all faculty of IT department in I.T. Seminar hall.

This club consists of faculties and students who truly care about the creation of new ideas through the use of software development. We facilitate this by teaching each other through workshops and training. We're an open source community, and to us, that means that we accept everyone willing to learn or give back through teaching.

Objective

  • To strive for spreading the essence of software development by promoting software engineering development activities.
  • To form an interactive community for students to develop team spirit.
  • To offer our skills in development of applications and websites by performing coding, assuring reliability and effective testing.
  • Inception of versatile capabilities in students like interpersonal skills, thinking abilities and professional approach

Goal

Term I - AY 17-18

Foundation Training Session on Andriod Studio IDE
Day & Date: Foundation Training Session for Student of SE and TE on Andriod Studio IDE.

Objective: To develop Student Skill and enhance Life long learning . To promote students technical career towards the new technological developments that happens in the Mobile Application Industry.
Outcome: This Club Training focuses on how to design and develop Mobile Application .
Summary report: Mobile Application development is introduced as APPCLUB by Information Technology Department of PES Modern College of Engineering, Pune.Android is

an open source mobile Operating System. Skill Development is very essential in Student development to support student to continuously learn Every Saturday Training session are Organized .

Objective: The objective of the workshop Sponsored by SPPU Under "Vidyarthi Kalyan Mandal "is to enable the participants to develop mobile applications on their own and to train them to use ANDROID STUDIO as IDE.

To promote students technical career towards the new technological developments that happens in the Mobile Application Industry.
Outcome: This workshop focuses on how to design and develop Mobile Application Workshop and learn how to create own APP on Android platform & Publish it on Play-store.
Summary report: Workshop on“Mobile Application Development” organized by InformationTechnology Department of PES Modern College of Engineering, Pune, on 7/2/2018 to 9/2/2018 . Android is an open source mobile Operating System. This workshop introduces about Android, the fastest growing mobile OS. The job opportunities in this stream are not only restricted to the manufacturing, repairing and maintenance of mobile handsets but also it provides a lot of career opportunities in mobile application development for software professionals.

Web Development Stack And Why C

Objective: Awareness regarding industrial web stack technologies and continuous learning process with improvement in Students Skill set.
Outcome: Understanding of various recent trends in Industry.
Summary report: A Guest Session on “Web Development Stack and why C” Third Year ,Information Technology Branch on 27 th August 2018 at 9:30 am in 324 Room , Students from various Department such as COMP ,ITAttended the program .The Program Focus on extending students awareness about various skill set regarding web development stack and Students was made aware of various platforms like hacker rank ,github, Etc to Enhance the knowledge and solve real world problems.

(Mrs.) S.D.Deshpande, ITSA Coordinator Mrs. Bhawana Chaudhary and all faculty of IT department in I.T. Seminar hall. Our guest explained about the importance of android and its application.

Various students (Mostly BE) participated in this club in groups. Each group had 4-5 students. This APP CLUB is beneficial for all students and staff member who has interest in android development.

Objectives : To understand android OS and its application.To provide open platform for students to present their skills in Android development.
Outcomes : Total 15 Mobile applications were developed by students in different domain.
Summary report :

During the Semester II Mobile app development activity is organized under the APP Club. BE Students participated in this activity. They learned android OS and other features of Android. In which mostly students developed Mobile Application in different domain.

Various students participated in this club in groups. Each group had 4-5 students.

This APP CLUB is beneficial for all students and staff member who has interest in android development.
