Exploring innovations through projects

For a final year student, implementing an engineering project is a perfect platform to explore innovative ideas. It is a task that turns into a game changer in student’s career path and a career setting path too. At this stage it becomes mandatory to get the projects guided, well assessed by industry experts from various fields. And imagine, how if all these experts with resources are made available for students and their improvement? Yes … the idea was successfully executed in Electrical Department.

Huge enthusiasm, excellent and innovative ideas, sharing of thoughts with experts, tough assessment and at last a great appreciation , made the day of Project Exhibition memorable. Students were satisfied with judges’ suggestions and improvements asked. Also they experienced a level of confidence among themselves to face a practical examination henceforth. The projects were assessed by alumni of the institute, Mr.Prashant Gawande , PhD research Scholar at COE,Pune and Mr.Asif Shaikh, Sr. Engineer at MEDA, Pune . The sectors like power systems, renewable energy sources were touched by students which was an appreciable step at graduate level.
