Computer Laboratory

The laboratory is well equipped with various licensed technical software like Lab view, MATLAB and also application software and System software. In the computer laboratory separate computer per student per batch is available. Each computer has latest configuration. The networked laboratory is having high speed Internet facility. The students have access to many international technical papers and journals. Additional Authorized License copy of software's are also installed.

Microcontroller Laboratory

Highly sophisticated Microprocessor lab is equipped with advanced microprocessor, micro controller, and VLSI and network analysis kits. The students also have access to various simulators, Assemblers and Debuggers, which help them to work on different real time projects. Laboratory has micrologix Allen Bradley PLC and Wonder touch SCADA software along with integrated control system panel. Temperature monitoring and control kit is used to develop the ladder diagram programming skills. Process simulation applications are developed for better understanding of process.

The laboratory is well equipped with the simulated models of transmission lines and electrical machines to represent the power system network. In the Practical Sessions the various components are studied to develop the analyzing capabilities of the students. Along with the normal conditions the analysis of the faulty conditions of power system are also studied for their simulation using software like, Simulink and Simpower toolboxes of MATLAB. High voltage experiments & testing is carried out using H.T.Transformer, horizontal sphere gap arrangement etc.
