Working to engineer a better world: The IET is professional society for Engineers of all engineering streams which was initially named as IEE, it was emerged during 1871 as a Society of Telegraph Engineers later on it is renamed as IET in 2006.

IET inspires, informs and influences the global engineering community to engineer a better world. As a diverse home across engineering and technology, society shares knowledge that helps make better sense of the world in order to solve the challenges that matter. That’s why it is uniquely placed to champion engineering.
