2)He explained to us the difference of being a innovator and entrepreneur by giving example Nikola Tesla (electricity) and Thomas Edison (electric bulb). He quoted tesla was just a innovator because he was unable to market the product he invented but the latter, Thomas Edison was successful in doing so. So he was a great entrepreneur.
3)He emphasized he use of DST, a govt scheme which funds the startups. But many of us aren't aware about it so nobody applies for the funding and about 50k crore of INR gets back to govt.
4) He adviced us to not just being an engineer on paper but atleast be a innovator. Put ideas to reality and important to create our own prototype model. Ex- a 40 yr old man patented a brick sized battery to be replaced by large battery for being applied in truck. He tested it for 1 year and was successful in doing so. 5 year ago he rejected the proposal of cummins india of 5 crore INR and later sold it at 600 crore INR.
