About NSS
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, New Delhi, Govt. of Maharashtra, and University of Pune. It is an independent service scheme for college students and development of the personality of students through Community service. The aim of the NSS is Not Me But You. P.E.S’s Modern College of Engineering NSS unit is under the Savitribai Phule Pune University and also funding by Savitribai Phule Pune University.
